From the center of Kopavogur, head east on Lækjargata Street towards the main road, Suðurlandsvegur. Turn right onto Suðurlandsvegur and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the road; take the left path that leads down towards the beach area.
