Walk north on Suðurnesvegur for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road to Reykjavík (Route 41). Continue walking along Route 41 for approximately 20 kilometers.     From the bus stop in the center of Grindavik, board the Strætó bus number 55 towards Reykjavík. The bus will take you directly to the capital city. After about 30 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Reykjavik - Hlemmur'. From there, transfer to bus number 14 towards 'Nauthólsvík'. This bus will take you directly to the beach area.
