Walking
Start at the center of Grindavik, near the main square. Head northeast on Suðurströnd street towards the main road, Route 43. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 43. Turn left onto Route 43 and walk for about 3.5 kilometers (approximately 45 minutes). You will pass through scenic landscapes and see the ocean to your left. Once you reach the junction with Route 41, turn right and continue for about 1.5 kilometers (approximately 20 minutes). Skarfabakki Harbour will be on your left at the address 544P+F35, 104 Reykjavík.
Bus
From Grindavik, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on the main road (Route 43). Take the bus number 55 towards Reykjavík. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the 'Kopavogur' stop, then transfer to bus number 1 towards 'Sundhöllin'. Get off at the 'Skarfabakki' stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Skarfabakki Harbour, located at 544P+F35, 104 Reykjavík.
