Blue Lagoon offers the best value for family with small kids (13 and below free admission). Although not as grand and luxurious as Sky Lagoon, the admission includes basic mud mask and a free drink. Additionally, there is no restriction to use their sauna and steam room while Sky Lagoon only allow one visit per the 7-ritual. Overall I would recommend Blue Lagoon to family who wants to save some money while enjoying the nature hot spring in Iceland

Unique experience

It was a great and unique experience. I enjoyed a variety of 3 face masks (I got premium package) and one free drink. The blue water is very warm, even hot, even with the wind and coldness in the air. Enjoyed free hand and body lotion in the shower room. Browsed the gift shop, and sampled a lot of skin products for the face and hands. (Still after two days at home feel how soft and silky my skin is) Went to Lava restaurant with the view of the Lagoon. The food and bread where absolutely amazing! Started that experience at 10am till 2pm then took a bus at 2:30pm to airport to fly home. If you have a flight home around 5pm or 6pm like I did, definitely schedule Blue lagoon on the way back from Reykjavík. It's conveniently located 25 min from Airport. Very relaxing and uplifting

Totally amazing and energizing

Although it is a very touristy place, you have to experience it while in Iceland. We had a private tour which included admission which made it very easy. Our driver gave us a lot of information about the area as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would definitely recommend it.
