From the center of Grindavik, head northeast on the main road, Suðurgata, towards Route 43. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Route 43, turn right and walk another 300 meters. You will see a bus stop on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach a large roundabout. From there, take the left exit onto Route 41 towards Reykjavík. Walk for about 500 meters until you reach the next bus stop. You can catch a bus from this stop to Reykjavík.

From any point in Grindavik, make your way to the nearest bus stop. Board the bus heading to Reykjavík, which operates regularly throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, get off at the stop closest to Arnarhóll. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards the coast, and you will find the Ingólfur Arnarson sculpture at the top of the grassy hill.
