    From Hafnarfjörður center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located at Hafnarfjörður Ráðhúsið. Take the bus number 1 towards 'Hafnarfjörður' and get off at the 'Reykjavík' bus terminal (BSI). From BSI, transfer to the bus number 55 towards 'Grindavík'. The Blue Lagoon is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop 'Blue Lagoon'. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs to the Blue Lagoon, which is located at Norðurljósavegur 9.

  • Taxi

    You can easily find a taxi in the Hafnarfjörður area. Simply ask for a taxi at your accommodation or look for a taxi stand. Inform the driver that you wish to go to 'Blue Lagoon' at Norðurljósavegur 9, Grindavík. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you can expect to pay around 8,000 ISK.

  • Walking

    If you are near the harbor area, you can take a scenic walk towards the Blue Lagoon. Head south along the coast towards the main road (Route 41). Follow the Route 41 heading southwest until you reach the junction with Route 43. Turn left onto Route 43 and continue walking until you see the signs for Blue Lagoon. The walk is quite long (approximately 20 km), so it is recommended only for those who are up for a hike.
