From Hafnarfjordur, head to the nearest bus stop, which is likely the Hafnarfjordur Central Bus Station. Take Bus Route 1 towards Reykjavik. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at the stop named 'Borgarnes'. From there, transfer to Bus Route 57 towards 'Hvalfjörður' and stay on the bus for about 40 minutes until you reach the stop for Glymur Waterfall. Follow the signs along the walking path to the waterfall itself.

If you're feeling adventurous and the weather is nice, consider a scenic walk from Hafnarfjordur to Glymur Waterfall. Start at the center of Hafnarfjordur and follow the coastal path towards the north. Continue walking along the main road, and after about 10 kilometers, you will reach a sign for Glymur Waterfall. Follow the trail to the waterfall, enjoying the beautiful Icelandic landscape along the way.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hafnarfjordur. Head north out of the city, following Route 1. The ride to Glymur Waterfall is about 12 kilometers.
