Walking
From Hafnarfjordur town center, head north on Hafnarfjarðarvegur road towards the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn left onto Suðurgata and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will reach the bus stop 'Hafnarfjörður, Suðurgata' where you can catch a bus to Seltjarnarnes.

Take bus number 1 from the 'Hafnarfjörður, Suðurgata' stop in the direction of 'Bæjarháls.' Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at 'Seltjarnarnes, Garðastræti.' From there, walk southwest on Garðastræti for about 10 minutes until you reach Grótta Island Lighthouse. Follow the signs towards the coastline, and you will see the lighthouse.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bicycle in Hafnarfjordur. Head north on Hafnarfjarðarvegur road, turn left onto Suðurgata, and continue until you reach the bus stop mentioned earlier. From there, you can take the same route described above. The bike ride will take about 30 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the views along the way.
