Walking
If you are starting from the Hafnarfjörður town center, head northeast on Aðalgata street towards the harbor. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main road, then turn left onto Víkingaheimar street. Follow this road as it curves and leads you toward the coast. You will see the Old Harbour area ahead. Once you reach the harbor, look for Tryggvagötu street and walk along it until you find Kolaportið at Tryggvagötu 19. The market is located in a large building near the harbor.
Public Transport
From Hafnarfjörður, take the Strætó bus number 1 or 2 from the Hafnarfjörður bus terminal. The buses will take you directly to Reykjavík. Make sure to get off at the stop called 'Hlemmur.' Once you arrive at Hlemmur, transfer to bus number 15 or 14 and ride it towards the 'Gullinbrú' stop. After you disembark at Gullinbrú, walk east towards Tryggvagötu street. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes and you will arrive at Kolaportið located at Tryggvagötu 19.
