Bus
From Hafnarfjordur, walk to the nearest bus stop. The closest one is 'Hafnarfjordur - Hraunberg' located on the main road. Take bus number 1 towards 'Reykjavik'. After around 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Hlemmur'. From there, transfer to bus number 15 towards 'Sundhöll Reykjavíkur'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Grandagarður'. The Saga Museum will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at Grandagarður 2.
Walking
If you're near the center of Hafnarfjordur, head north towards the coast. Follow the path that leads you towards the water. Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and continue walking along the coast until you reach the 'Hafnarfjordur - Hraunberg' bus stop. From there, take bus number 1 towards Reykjavik and follow the same directions as above.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from Hafnarfjordur to the Saga Museum in Reykjavik. Simply hail a taxi or use a taxi app. The journey will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Provide the driver with the address: Grandagarður 2, 101 Reykjavík.
