    From Hafnarfjordur, walk to the nearest bus stop. The closest one is 'Hafnarfjordur - Hraunberg' located on the main road. Take bus number 1 towards 'Reykjavik'. After around 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Hlemmur'. From there, transfer to bus number 15 towards 'Sundhöll Reykjavíkur'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Grandagarður'. The Saga Museum will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at Grandagarður 2.

Once you reach the waterfront, turn left and continue walking along the coast until you reach the 'Hafnarfjordur - Hraunberg' bus stop. From there, take bus number 1 towards Reykjavik and follow the same directions as above.
