    From the center of Hafnarfjörður, start at the Hafnarfjörður Town Hall. Head northeast on Aðalgata toward Strandgötu. Continue straight until you reach the main road, Þjóðvegur 1. Cross the road and follow the signs towards Reykjavík. Walk along the path that leads into the bus station area. Once you are at the bus station, look for bus number 1 towards 'Hlemmur' or 'Laugardalur'. Get on the bus and ride until you reach Hlemmur bus terminal in Reykjavík. From there, transfer to bus number 15 towards 'Vesturbær' and get off at the stop 'Hofsvallagata'. Vesturbæjarlaug will be a short walk from there.

    If you're near the Hafnarfjörður bus terminal, take bus number 1 directly towards Reykjavík. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes until you reach Hlemmur bus terminal. From Hlemmur, transfer to bus number 15 towards 'Vesturbær'. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Hofsvallagata'. After exiting the bus, walk a short distance along Hofsvallagata, and you will see Vesturbæjarlaug on your left.
