Kerlingarfjöll Geothermal Highlands Day Tour from Reykjavik
Incredible experience
The Kerlingarfjoll day hike was absolutely incredible. I went in early June when it had just opened and our guide did a great job navigating us across what feels like another world. You could see the guides passion for the Highlands as a truly special place of Iceland. He navigated the F-roads to get us there safely - but it can be quite bumpy. The hike has a lot of built in stairs, but be prepared for mud, snow, and a small water crossing - all part of the Iceland experience!
