Car
From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southeast on Road 1 (the Ring Road) for about 60 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Egilsstaðir. Continue on Road 1 until you reach the turnoff for Skjólbrekka 311, which is a minor road on your left. Turn left onto Skjólbrekka and continue for 2 kilometers. You will reach the Borgarbyggð Waterfall view, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the waterfall.

From Hengifoss Waterfall, you will need to take a bus to Egilsstaðir first. Check the schedule for bus service, as it may not run frequently. Once in Egilsstaðir, transfer to a local bus heading toward Borgarbyggð. Alternatively, you may need to arrange a taxi from Egilsstaðir to Skjólbrekka 311, as public transport may not go directly to the waterfall view.
