From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southeast on Road 1 (the Ring Road) for about 60 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Egilsstaðir. Continue on Road 1 until you reach the turnoff for Skjólbrekka 311, which is a minor road on your left. Turn left onto Skjólbrekka and continue for 2 kilometers.
