From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southwest on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Egilsstaðir. Drive for approximately 27 km until you reach the junction with Route 931. Turn left onto Route 931 and continue for about 7 km. Faxi will be on your right. Look for the designated parking area.

Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly from Hengifoss to Faxi. You may need to return to Egilsstaðir first. From Hengifoss, take a bus back to Egilsstaðir.
