From Hengifoss Waterfall, head south on Road 1 (the Ring Road) for approximately 20 kilometers. After passing Egilsstaðir, continue on Road 1 until you reach the turnoff for Road 931 towards Stuðlagil Canyon. Follow Road 931 for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the canyon. From the parking area, it is a short hike (approximately 1.5 kilometers) to reach Stuðlafoss Waterfall. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear as the path can be rocky and uneven.
