Car
From Hengifoss Waterfall, head southwest on the gravel path toward the parking area. Upon reaching the parking area, get back onto Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading east. Continue for approximately 16 kilometers (about 10 miles) until you see the sign for Flögufoss. Turn left onto the gravel road that leads to Flögufoss. Drive for about 2 kilometers, and you will reach the parking area for the waterfall. There are no fees to park here.

Public transportation options are limited, but you can take a bus from Egilsstaðir to a nearby location. From Egilsstaðir, take the bus towards Dísarstaðir. You will need to check the local bus schedules for exact times. Once you reach Dísarstaðir, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to the Flögufoss waterfall. Since the bus might not drop you off directly at the parking area, you may need to arrange for a taxi if you're unsure about the walking distance.
