If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Egilsstaðir. Take Route 1 (the Ring Road) westwards and then turn onto Route 931 towards the Highlands. Continue on Route 931 until you reach the junction with Route 94. Turn onto Route 94, which will lead you towards Hljóðaklettar. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours from Egilsstaðir, covering about 85 kilometers. Parking is available near the site.

To reach Hljóðaklettar via public transportation, take the bus from Egilsstaðir to the nearest stop on Route 94. Note that bus services may be limited, so check the schedule in advance. From the bus stop, it is advisable to arrange a taxi to cover the remaining distance to Hljóðaklettar, as it is about 20 kilometers away from the bus stop. Taxi costs can vary, so be prepared for an additional expense.
