If you are driving from the center of Hveragerdi, head northwest on Iceland Route 1 (also known as the Ring Road). Continue for about 5 km until you reach the turnoff for Laugarnestangi street. Take the exit towards Laugarnestangi and continue straight until you arrive at Laugarnestangi 70, 105 Reykjavík. The Sigurjón Ólafsson Museum will be on your right. There is no parking fee at the museum.

From Hveragerdi, you can take a bus towards Reykjavík. Board the bus at the Hveragerdi bus station. Ensure you check the schedule for the correct route; buses typically run every hour. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to Laugarnestangi (you may need to ask the driver for the best stop). From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Laugarnestangi 70. Simply head southeast on Laugarnestangi, and you will find the museum on your left. A single bus fare can cost around 1,500 ISK.
