Walking
If you are in Laugardalur, start by heading towards the Laugardalslaug swimming pool, which is a well-known landmark in the area. From the entrance of the pool, exit onto Sundlaugavegur road. Continue walking on Sundlaugavegur until you reach the intersection with Laugardalsholt road. Turn left onto Laugardalsholt. You will notice the entrance to Grasagarður Botanical Garden on your right after about 600 meters. The garden is a short, pleasant walk from the swimming pool, taking approximately 10-15 minutes.

If you prefer to take public transportation, you can catch the bus number 14 or 18 from any nearby bus stop in Laugardalur. Board the bus heading towards 'Hlemmur' and get off at the 'Grasagarður' stop, which is located directly outside the botanical garden. The bus journey takes approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. A single bus ticket costs around 490 ISK, and tickets can be purchased at the bus terminal or through the Strætó app.
