Car
From Hveragerdi, head northwest on Route 1 (the Ring Road) towards Reykjavík. Continue on Route 1 for about 45 kilometers. As you approach Reykjavík, follow the signs for the city center and take the exit towards Route 41. Merge onto Route 41 and continue until you see signs for Skarfabakki Harbour. Follow the signs directing you to the harbour area, which is located at 544P+F35, 104 Reykjavík.

From Hveragerdi, take the bus from the Hveragerdi bus stop (Hveragerdi is served by Strætó buses). You will need to take Route 1 towards Reykjavík. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Reykjavík bus terminal (BSI), transfer to a local bus heading towards Skarfabakki Harbour. Bus Route 15 goes directly to Skarfabakki Harbour. Get off at the Skarfabakki stop, which is a short walk from the harbour at 544P+F35, 104 Reykjavík.
