Start at the center of Hveragerdi, near the Hveragerdi town square. Head north on Hveragerdisvegur street towards the main road, Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and cafés along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Reykjavík. As you approach the outskirts of Hveragerdi, follow the road signs towards Reykjavík, and after about 2 kilometers, you will see Árbæjarlaug on your left at Fylkisvegur 9.
Public Bus
From Hveragerdi town center, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road, Route 1. Take bus number 51 towards Reykjavík. The bus will take you directly to Reykjavík. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Árbæjarlaug stop. From there, it is a short walk to Fylkisvegur 9 where the swimming pool is located.
