    Start at the Hveragerdi town center, specifically at the main square. Head north on Aðalgata street towards the intersection with Stóragerði. Turn left onto Stóragerði and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hveragerðisvegur. Turn right onto Hveragerðisvegur, and walk for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and local cafes. After about 1 kilometer, look for bus stop 'Hveragerði' on your left. From here, you can take a local bus heading towards Kópavogur. Once on the bus, stay on until you reach 'Kópavogur' station. After you disembark, walk about 5 minutes northeast along Hamraborg street to reach Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs, which will be on your right at Hamraborg 6.

    From the center of Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Hveragerðisvegur. Catch the bus number 1 towards Kópavogur. The journey will take about 30 minutes. After you arrive at the Kópavogur bus terminal, exit the bus and walk northeast along Hamraborg street for about 5 minutes. Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs will be on your right at Hamraborg 6.
