Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, head north on Þjóðvegur 1 (the main road). Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus stop for the Reykjavík bus. This is located near the Hveragerdi town hall. Once at the bus stop, board the bus heading to Reykjavík. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. After arriving in Reykjavík, you will need to disembark at the 'Hlemmur' bus station, which is a major hub in the city. From Hlemmur, walk south along Laugavegur street for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Skólavörðustígur. Turn left onto Skólavörðustígur and walk for another 300 meters. The Unknown Bureaucrat will be on your right at 43W5+8V3.
Public Transport
From the main square of Hveragerdi, take the bus number 51 or 55 towards Reykjavík. The bus stop is located near the Hveragerdi swimming pool. The journey to Reykjavík will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Reykjavík, get off at the 'Hlemmur' bus station. From there, walk south down Laugavegur street for about 1.2 kilometers. At the intersection with Skólavörðustígur, turn left and continue for 300 meters. The Unknown Bureaucrat will be located on your right at 43W5+8V3.
