Walking
From the center of Hveragerdi, start at the Hveragerdi Church (Hveragerðiskirkja). Head west on Þjóðvegur towards the main road. After about 300 meters, turn left onto the main road (Route 1) and continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers. You will pass through the towns of Selfoss and then into Reykjavík. Once you reach the outskirts of Reykjavík, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the city center. Continue on until you reach Tryggvagata, where you will find Volcano House at Tryggvagata 11.
Bus
From Hveragerdi, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Hveragerdi Church. Take the Strætó bus number 51 towards Reykjavík. This bus will take you directly to the city center. Get off at the stop for 'Hlemmur', a central bus station in Reykjavík. From Hlemmur, walk along Laugavegur street toward the harbor area. Turn left onto Tryggvagata, and you will find Volcano House at Tryggvagata 11.
