Bus
From Keflavik town center, walk to the bus stop located near the Keflavik International Airport (KEF) bus terminal. Board the Flybus to Grindavík, which is the nearest town to the Blue Lagoon. The ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Grindavík, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, the Blue Lagoon is about a 10-minute walk. Head south on Norðurljósavegur towards the Blue Lagoon, following the signs.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Keflavik to the Blue Lagoon. Simply ask at your hotel reception or find a nearby taxi stand. The taxi ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to Norðurljósavegur 9, Grindavík.
Walking
If you are starting from a nearby hotel or accommodation in Keflavik, you can walk to the nearest bus stop for the Flybus service or arrange a taxi. Walking directly to the Blue Lagoon is not recommended due to the distance of about 20 kilometers, but if you're adventurous and have a good sense of direction, follow the main road south towards Grindavík. However, using public transport or a taxi is highly advised for convenience.
