Bus
From the center of Keflavik, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take the Strætó bus number 55 towards Kópavogur. The bus will take you directly towards your destination. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at 'Hamraborg' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs located at Hamraborg 6. Just follow the street signs towards Hamraborg, and you will arrive at the museum.
Walking
If you are in a central location in Keflavik, a longer but scenic option is to walk to the museum. Start by heading northeast on Vallarvegur Street, then turn left onto Suðurgata. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut. Cross Reykjanesbraut and continue on the path leading into Kópavogur. Once you reach Kópavogur, follow the signs for Hamraborg to find the museum at Hamraborg 6.
Taxi
For a more direct and quicker route, consider taking a taxi from Keflavik to Náttúrufræðistofa Kópavogs. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Hamraborg 6 in Kópavogur. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. This is the most convenient option if you are carrying luggage or prefer a direct route.
