    From Borgarnes town center, walk towards the bus stop located on the main road (Borgarbraut). Once at the bus stop, take the bus heading towards Reykjavík. Enjoy the scenic ride along the coast, which typically takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival in Reykjavík, disembark at the main bus terminal (BSÍ). From there, head to the nearest bus stop for local transport.

  • Public Bus

    At BSÍ bus terminal in Reykjavík, board bus number 5 towards 'Sæbraut'. The bus will take you directly to the Sun Voyager. Get off at the 'Sæbraut' stop, which is just a short walk away from the sculpture. Follow the signs pointing towards the waterfront, and you will see the Sun Voyager ahead.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the BSÍ bus terminal. Simply approach the taxi stand and inform the driver you want to go to the Sun Voyager (Sæbraut, 101 Reykjavík). The taxi ride will take approximately 10 minutes and will drop you off right at the location.
