From Keflavik, head to the nearest bus stop which is located on Hafnargata (the main road in Keflavik). You will take the Strætó bus number 55 towards Reykjavík. Make sure to check the current schedule for departure times. The bus ride will take approximately 45-60 minutes. Disembark at the 'Borgarholt' stop, which is one of the stops in Reykjavík.

After getting off at Borgarholt, walk towards the main road (Miklabraut). At Miklabraut, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Kistuhylur street. Here, turn right onto Kistuhylur. You will see signs directing you towards Árbær Open Air Museum. The museum is located at 459J+77, 4, 110 Kistuhylur, Reykjavík, and is approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the bus stop.
