Walking
Start your journey at the main square in Keflavik, Ingólfsbjarg. From there, head northwest on Hafnargata street until you reach the intersection with Suðurgata. Turn left onto Suðurgata and continue walking straight until you reach the coast. Once you reach the coastline, follow the path along the water towards the Seltjarnarnes peninsula. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for Grótta Island Lighthouse. Continue walking towards the lighthouse, which is located on Grótta Island. The path may be rocky, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes.

Public Transport
From the central bus station in Keflavik, take Bus 55 towards Reykjavík. Get off at the stop 'Seltjarnarnes - Sundlaug'. From there, walk towards the coast, and follow the path along the water for about 1 kilometer until you reach Grótta Island Lighthouse. The walk will take you along a scenic route with views of the ocean and mountains.
