    From Keflavik town center, walk to the nearest bus stop (e.g., 'Keflavik - Strandskoli') and take bus number 55 towards Reykjavik. You will need to check the current bus schedule for departure times. In approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Reykjavik - Sæbraut'. Once there, transfer to bus number 1 towards 'Kringlumýri'. After about 20 minutes, get off at 'Reykjavik - Hlemmur'. Finally, transfer to bus number 12, which will take you directly to the Viðey ferry terminal. The ferry departs regularly from the terminal, and the ride to Viðey takes about 15 minutes.
