If you're driving, head towards Kerlingarfjöll from the nearest town, Hella. Take Route 26 northbound until you reach the junction with F35 (the Kjölur Route). Turn right onto F35 and continue for about 30 km until you reach the Kerlingarfjöll area. Once inside Kerlingarfjöll, follow the signs towards the photopoint located on Fjallabaksleið Nyrðri. The photopoint is approximately a 5-minute drive from the main parking area.
