    From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Kopavogur, Hringbraut' (located near the shopping center). Take the bus number 1 towards 'Reykjavik'. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the 'Hafnarfjordur, Fagralund' stop. Here, transfer to bus number 55 towards 'Grindavik'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach 'Grindavik, Njarðvik'. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Blue Lagoon located at Norðurljósavegur 9. Follow the signs to the lagoon.

  • Taxi

    You can easily find a taxi in Kopavogur. Simply hail a taxi from the street or call a local taxi service. Ask the driver to take you to the Blue Lagoon at Norðurljósavegur 9, Grindavik. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around 7,000 to 10,000 ISK.

    Start at the Kopavogur town center and walk to the nearest bus stop at 'Kopavogur, Hringbraut'. From there, take bus number 1 towards 'Reykjavik'.
