From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Garðarsbraut (the main road). Take bus number 1 towards 'Hafnarfjörður'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes. Once you reach the 'Selvogur' bus stop, disembark. After getting off the bus, Strandarkirkja will be a short 10-minute walk to the south along the coastal path. Follow the signs for the church, and you'll see it in the distance.

If you prefer to walk, start from the Kopavogur town square. Head northeast on Smáratorg street and continue until you reach the coastal path. Follow the path south along the coastline, which should take around 45 minutes. This scenic route will lead you directly to Strandarkirkja, where you can enjoy the beautiful views along the way.
