From the center of Kopavogur, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Garðarsbraut (the main road). Take bus number 1 towards 'Hafnarfjörður'. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes. Once you reach the 'Selvogur' bus stop, disembark. After getting off the bus, Strandarkirkja will be a short 10-minute walk to the south along the coastal path. Follow the signs for the church, and you'll see it in the distance.
