Car
From the main parking area in Landmannalaugar, head east on the F208 road. Continue driving for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating ÁRMÓTAFOSS, TANGAFOSS. Please be aware that a 4x4 vehicle is recommended for this route due to the rugged terrain.

If you prefer to hike to ÁRMÓTAFOSS, TANGAFOSS from Landmannalaugar, start from the main campsite. Follow the marked hiking trail heading east towards the F208 road. This path is well-marked and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the F208, follow the road for about 10 kilometers until you see the sign for ÁRMÓTAFOSS. The hike may take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.
