Car
From Landmannalaugar, head southwest on the main road (F208). Continue on this road for approximately 30 km. Look for signs indicating the turnoff to Hella, where you will then turn onto Route 1 (the Ring Road). Drive for about 10 km, then look for signs leading to the Egissidu Waterfalls. The exact location is near coordinates 63.8188641, -20.4185578. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for F-roads as some sections may require a 4x4.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Landmannalaugar to Hella. Check the schedules as they may vary, but there are usually services that run during the summer months. Once in Hella, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Egissidu Waterfalls. The distance is approximately 7 km from Hella to the waterfalls. Be prepared for a short hike once you arrive at the drop-off point.
