From any location in Southern Region, head towards Hvolsvöllur. If you're coming from Reykjavik, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading southeast. After approximately 96 kilometers, take the exit toward Hvolsvöllur. Follow the signs to the town center, and then turn onto Austurvegur. LAVA Centre is located at Austurvegur 14, which will be on your right side. There is parking available on-site for visitors.

To reach LAVA Centre by public transport, you can take the bus from Reykjavik to Hvolsvöllur. Check the schedule for the Strætó bus service, which typically runs several times a day. Once you arrive at Hvolsvöllur bus station, it’s about a 10-minute walk to LAVA Centre. Head east on Austurvegur, and you will find the Centre at number 14. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips as they may be limited in the evenings.
