Walking
Start at the center of Blonduos, near the church (Blonduoskirkja). Head west on the main street, Húnavatnsgata. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Haukadalsvegur. Turn left onto Haukadalsvegur and continue walking for about 2 kilometers. You will pass some residential areas and open fields. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating Norðlingafoss, which will be on your left. The waterfall is easily visible from the road.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Blonduos swimming pool (Sundlaug Blönduós) which is centrally located. Bike south on Húnavatnsgata towards the intersection with Haukadalsvegur. Turn left onto Haukadalsvegur and continue straight for about 2 kilometers. You will see Norðlingafoss on your left. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.

Check local bus schedules for routes heading towards Haukadalsvegur. Board a bus that goes in the direction of Haukadalur. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the closest stop to Norðlingafoss. After getting off, you may need to walk about 500 meters to reach the waterfall, which is visible from the road.
