From the closest point on the Laugavegur Trail, you will need to drive towards the Bláfjallafoss. Start by heading south on the main road (Route 1) from Landmannalaugar, which is a common starting point for the Laugavegur Trail. After approximately 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Route 26. Follow this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach a junction. Take a right turn onto Route 30 and continue straight. After about 30 kilometers, you will reach a gravel road that leads to Bláfjallafoss. The coordinates for Bláfjallafoss are approximately 63.7595° N, 18.8413° W. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel road conditions.

If you are using public transportation, start your journey at the nearest bus stop to your location on the Laugavegur Trail.
