    If you are driving from the center of Akureyri, head east on Hafnarstræti towards Búðargata. Continue on Búðargata, which will turn into Vaðlaheiði. Follow the road for approximately 5 km until you see the sign for Vaðlaskógur. Turn left onto Vaðlaskógur and you will find Forest Lagoon at number 605 on your right. There is parking available on-site.

    To reach Forest Lagoon using public transportation, take bus line 14 from Akureyri bus station towards Vaðlaheiði. The bus will stop near the Vaðlaskógur area. You will need to disembark at the nearest bus stop and walk approximately 10 minutes east on Vaðlaskógur to reach Forest Lagoon at 605. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times.
