Car

If you are driving from Akureyri city center, head southeast on Hafnarstræti towards Ráðhústorg. Continue straight onto Aðalstræti and follow the signs for Route 1. After approximately 3 kilometers, take the exit onto Route 82 towards Húsavík. Follow Route 82 for about 8 kilometers until you see the sign for Vaðlaskógur. Turn right onto Vaðlaskógur road and continue for about 1 kilometer. The Forest Lagoon will be on your left at Vaðlaskógur 605.

From Akureyri, you can take a local bus that services the area. Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Vaðlaskógur. The nearest bus stop is approximately 1 kilometer from the Forest Lagoon. After getting off at the nearest stop, head southwest on Vaðlaskógur road for about 10 minutes on foot, and you will reach the Forest Lagoon at Vaðlaskógur 605.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route without the hassle of public transport or driving yourself, you can take a taxi from Akureyri. Simply provide the driver with the address Vaðlaskógur 605, 605 Akureyri. The journey should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
