If you are traveling by car, start from Akureyri, which is approximately 200 km away. Head west on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Búðardalur. Continue on Route 1 until you reach the turnoff for Haukadalsvegur. Turn right onto Haukadalsvegur and follow the road for about 2 km. Eiríksstaðir - Viking Longhouse will be on your left at Haukadalsvegur 371. Make sure to check the weather conditions and road status, especially during winter months.
