    If you're driving from the town of Húsavík, take Route 1 (the Ring Road) heading southwest. Continue on Route 1 for about 87 kilometers until you reach Akureyri. Once in Akureyri, take the exit toward 'Center/Akureyri' and continue straight onto Hafnarstræti. North Restaurant is located at Hafnarstræti 67, which will be on your left side.

    From Mývatn, take Route 1 heading west for approximately 80 kilometers. When you reach Akureyri, follow the signs for the city center. As you enter the city, stay on Route 1 until you see the signs for 'Center/Akureyri'. Turn onto Hafnarstræti, and you will find North Restaurant at Hafnarstræti 67 on your left.
