From Akureyri, head east on Route 1 (Ring Road) towards Egilsstaðir. Continue on Route 1 until you reach Vik. From Vik, take Route 206, which leads directly to Fjaðrárgljúfur. The drive from Akureyri to Vik takes approximately 5 hours. Once on Route 206, follow the signs to Fjaðrárgljúfur. There is no entry fee for the canyon.
