From the town of Blönduós, take Route 1 (Ring Road) heading south. After about 45 km, turn left onto Route 35 towards Hveravellir. Continue on Route 35 for approximately 60 km. The road may be gravel, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for this terrain. Follow the signs to Hveravellir, where you will find the geothermal area and facilities.
