If you are traveling by car, head towards Route 1 (Ring Road) from your current location in Northwestern Region. Depending on your starting point, follow the signs towards Akureyri. Once you reach Akureyri, take Route 82 towards Eyjafjörður. Continue on Route 82 until you see the signs for Oxnadalur. The ravine is located at approximately 65.5703° N, 18.5500° W. There is no specific parking area near the ravine, so make sure to park safely along the road and walk to the site.

For public transportation, take a bus from Akureyri to the nearest stop to Oxnadalur. Check the local bus schedule, as services may run less frequently. You will need to take a bus heading towards Húsavík or Þjóðvegur. Ask the driver to let you off at the closest point to Oxnadalur. From there, it will be necessary to walk approximately 2-3 kilometers to reach the ravine. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
