    From the center of Olafsvik, start at the main square near the church. Head northwest on Borgarvegur (Route 54) for about 1 kilometer until you reach an intersection. At the intersection, take a left onto a smaller road that leads towards the coast. Continue walking along this path, which will curve slightly to the right and lead you towards the cliffs. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Sönghellir Cave. Follow any signage or local trail markers, as the path may not be very well marked. After approximately 3 kilometers, you should see the entrance to Sönghellir Cave on your right, nestled within the rocky landscape.
