If you are in the city center, start at the Harpa Concert Hall, located at Austurbakki 2. From Harpa, head west along the waterfront promenade towards the Old Harbour. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the sea and surrounding mountains. When you reach the Old Harbour, turn left onto Tryggvagata. Walk along Tryggvagata for about 5 minutes until you see Grófarhús on your right at Tryggvagata 15. The Reykjavík Museum of Photography will be on the corner.
Public Transport
If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop. Use bus line 1 or 14 from the city center towards Mjódd. Get off at the stop called 'Höfðatorg'. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk. Head north on Höfðatorg street until you reach the intersection with Tryggvagata. Turn right onto Tryggvagata and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The museum will be on your right at Tryggvagata 15.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct and comfortable option, you can take a taxi. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Grófarhús, Tryggvagata 15'. Taxi services are readily available throughout the city, and it should take about 5-10 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic.
