Start at the center of Sauðárkrókur, near the main square. Head southwest on Aðalgata street towards the coast. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach the end of the street where it meets the shoreline. Continue walking south along the beach for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you see Borgarsandur Beach on your right. The beach is marked with a sign indicating its name, and you can enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding area.

From the center of Sauðárkrókur, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Take Aðalgata street heading southwest for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the coast, turn right and follow the coastal path south for about 1.5 kilometers. The path will lead you directly to Borgarsandur Beach, where you can park your bicycle at the designated bike racks near the beach entrance.
