Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Grindavik, head southwest on Suðurstrandarvegur road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Reykjanesbraut. Turn left onto Reykjanesbraut and walk for approximately 3 kilometers. After that, you will reach a roundabout; take the second exit to stay on Reykjanesbraut. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, and then you will see signs for Hafnarfjörður. Follow the signs, and after about 5 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Sörlaskeið 26, where the Ishestar Horse Riding Centre is located.

  • Public Transport

    From Grindavik, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Suðurstrandarvegur. Take bus number 55 towards Hafnarfjörður. Ride the bus for approximately 20-25 minutes until you reach the Hafnarfjörður stop. Once you get off the bus, walk about 500 meters northeast towards Sörlaskeið. Ishestar Horse Riding Centre will be on your left at Sörlaskeið 26.
