If you are traveling by car within Skaftafell National Park, head towards Route 1 (the Ring Road) and look for the sign for Foss á Síðu, which is located on Þjóðvegur, 881. From the visitor center in Skaftafell, take Route 1 heading east for about 30 km. Once you reach the sign for Foss á Síðu, turn off onto the gravel road leading to the waterfall. There is a parking area available where you can leave your car.
